James O’Neill — Managing Partner
James O’Neill is a Managing Partner at Aximeter Partners, bringing more than two decades of investment banking and capital markets experience across the healthcare, technology, and fintech sectors.
He currently serves as Chief Investment Officer at Avrio Worldwide, a financial services technology company providing institutional-grade market infrastructure, services, and data across public, private, and digital markets. James also serves as a Board Member of Ethos, a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet and decentralized finance platform, and as a Senior Advisor to Fintech.TV, a global media platform covering innovation in finance, sustainability, and technology.
In addition, James is a Managing Director at SenaHill Partners, a fintech-focused merchant bank. Previously, he served as Co-Head of Healthcare and Head of Capital Markets at JonesTrading, where he advised public and private companies on strategic financings and growth transactions. Earlier in his career, he held similar roles at Oppenheimer & Co. and Roth Capital Partners, and also held positions at Cantor Fitzgerald and Dalman Rose & Co. (acquired by Cowen).
Over the course of his career, James has executed more than 500 transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $30 billion, spanning equity, debt, and hybrid financings for emerging growth and institutional clients.
Jack Terranova — Managing Partner
Jack Terranova is a Managing Partner at Aximeter Partners, bringing over 15 years of investment banking and capital markets experience, along with operating expertise in the fintech sector.
Jack is also the Founder and CFO of 44 West Mining, a Bitcoin mining company based in Gillette, Wyoming. In addition, he serves as a Corporate Development Advisor to Swan Bitcoin, a leading Bitcoin wealth platform for families and businesses, and as a Strategic Advisor to Faex Health, a Boulder-based health technology company focused on gut health and the microbiome.
Before founding Aximeter, Jack held senior roles at several investment banks. Most recently, he served as Co-Head of Healthcare and Technology Investment Banking at JonesTrading. Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director in Healthcare Investment Banking at Oppenheimer & Co. and a Vice President in Investment Banking at Maxim Group. Over the course of his career, Jack has completed more than 250 transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $10 billion across public and private markets.
Jack holds a BSM, Finance from Tulane University and an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Elizabeth Nguyen — Principal
Elizabeth is a Principal at Aximeter Partners. Prior to joining Aximeter, Elizabeth was a Vice President at MTS Health Partners, a healthcare-focused boutique investment bank, where she worked on M&A and equity financings across Life Sciences and Healthcare Services.
Prior to MTS, Elizabeth was an Associate at Oppenheimer, where she was specialized in Medtech M&A.
Elizabeth holds a B.A. with a dual concentration in Business and Healthcare Policy from Brandeis University.
